  • How to string the Clash given its unique frame flexibility?

I'd like to get thoughts on how to string the racket from a tension standpoint. Given how flexible the frame is, would you string it tighter than a "normal" racket, the same as you normally would?

OK, I have played with several string configurations. Eventhough one reviewer stated that the racket should be struck on the lighter side, I found that 54lbs is the right balance on the hybrid I am running. I had been 51 LBS with 17gauge volkl v tourque on the mains and Techifiber HDX on the cross on my previous racket. I tried that with the Clash and found it too bouncy. It came strung with a poly/multifiliment hybrid @ 57lbs, which I found too tight.

I ended up with the V Tourque 17 gauge and the volkl v feel on the cross @ 54 LBS and love it.
